Job Description

Our client is looking for a highly motivated technical sales executive for the northeast with experience managing large territories for fast-growing network, security, and/or SaaS companies. If you have a track record of overachieving quota, selling into both Service Provider and Enterprise accounts, and being the lead sales representative in a large geographic region, this is a great opportunity and we want to talk to you. The ideal candidate is a hunter who can work in an extremely fast-paced, revenue-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new business with new customers to rapidly expand given territory.
  • Generate a high volume of new opportunities to deliver predictable business.
  • Diligently manage pipeline, leading to accurate forecasting.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Achieve QoQ growth in your territory.
  • Work collaboratively with SDR and marketing teams to build demand gen programs that generate net new pipeline for your territory.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and industry trends.
  • Travel is a requirement and you must be able to travel on short notice.

Qualifications:

  • Northeast-based down to mid-Atlantic: Boston, NYC, NJ, Philly, NoVA markets are all ideal.
  • Experienced senior salesperson with a minimum of 8-years experience in the networking, monitoring, and/or security fields selling to technical buyers.
  • Technical background (IP Networking, SaaS, Network Management/Forensics).
  • Experience managing a large territory and quickly prioritizing prospects to meet your number.
  • Proven track record. (Service Provider experience is highly favorable.)
  • Experience closing deals up to $1M or more in TCV on a recurring revenue basis and an expert at working a robust funnel.
  • Strong pipeline management skills and forecasting of territory performance.
  • Ability to position new technology, present to both technical practitioners and C-level executives, and map strong product functionality to business value.
  • Bullish about new technology, technically curious, and has the desire and mentality to be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced startup.
  • Aptitude running complex enterprise sales motions.
  • Driven by recognition, both monetary and performance-based.
  • Exceptional listening and consultative probing skills.
  • Strong references from colleagues, superiors, and customers.
  • Self-starter.

JOB TITLE(s): Sr. Systems Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking Senior Systems Engineers to work with our advanced customers in the mid-Atlantic and east coast in this highly technical role. This is a very visible and key position within this rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

You will be the technical side of the Sales team, both an expert and visionary in the field. You will be responsible for educating customers, understanding their technical & business issues, managing their deployment and development projects, providing support, and helping to develop and refine its innovative solutions. You must have strong communication skills for customer presentations, industry events and providing a feedback loop to Product Management.

Duties Include:

  • Analyze customer network infrastructure for potential opportunities to demonstrate our solution’s unique capabilities
  • Work independently to evaluate prospective customers’ networks and deliver the appropriate evaluation, ROI, savings, proposed operational evolution and associated process management
  • Work closely with Sales and Engineering to resolve technical issues that arise during customer testing and demo creation
  • Create compelling test plans, demos, and customer presentations
  • Drive improved testing, demos, deployment, architecture, monitoring and reports leading to compelling pre-sales support for sales organization
  • Participate in internal projects that help scale the group, implement best practices, and improve our methodology and quality of performance testing
  • Work with customer success team during onboarding process

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related field), with 10-12 years of experience in data networking environments.

Requirements: 
A strong technical knowledge of datacenter networking is crucial as is hands-on experience with automation as it relates to networking devices.

  • BS degree in engineering, computer science or similar relevant field or equivalent
  • Deep technical knowledge of datacenter network architecture, SDN, and large-scale private cloud networks. Knowledge of IBNS is a plus.
  • Experience with network technologies (routing, switching, automation, systems management, troubleshooting and architecture) including knowledge from the application layer down to the physical layer
  • Proficiency in configuration and troubleshooting common network vendor solutions with Cisco, Arista, Cumulus, Juniper and Snaproute a plus
  • Knowledge of automation technologies including Ansible playbooks, Chef recipes, Puppet, Python scripting and JSON programming is preferred
  • Experience using network management and troubleshooting tools
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Additional experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Prior hands-on experience with large scale enterprise networking.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • A strong foundation in Linux use and administration.
  • Data networking certifications i.e. CCDP, CCIE or equivalent.
  • Knowledge on SDN, Openstack, Big Data, Cloud Data Centers, and Virtualization.
  • Knowledge on network monitoring, automation, network availability and capacity planning

JOB TITLE(s): Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect to support technical teams at enterprise accounts across financial services, media, retail, government and service provider sectors to trial our product/run PoCs. The pre-sales solution architect will identify and resolve any issues or feature gaps, take the engagement from concept to solution adoption into production, become a reference customer, and grow adoption and deployments within accounts.

Job responsibilities:

•    Identify key technical contacts to target
•    Explain the solution to potential enterprise customers
•    Identify and assisting developers and architects to create innovative designs for different use cases
•    Drive the POC process, capturing customer feedback, documenting requirements, communicating priorities        internally
•    Advocate the solution within a customer’s organization to overcome technical objections
•    Create high quality customer facing solution design proposals and documentation to win business
•    Champion the product and the technical relationship to deliver growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need to have a deep technical background in Linux and design and technical experience of Docker and Kubernetes, strong organizational and planning skills, be a solid team player, possess strong verbal and written communications for technical content, and demonstrate an extreme sense of urgency.

Preferred Experience:

•    Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesosphere
•    Automation, open-source databases, cloud storage and cloud providers (AWS, Google, MS Azure)
•    Knowledge of other software defined storage products like Ceph, Gluster, etc
•    A broad awareness of infrastructure is also desirable for this role.
•    Software and/or SAAS technical presales experience
•    Knowledge and relationships in the app dev space will accelerate your sales process significantly
•    Startup experience – a willingness to get stuck in
•    Great communication skills – being the technical authority

NYC – Account Executive

The Enterprise Account Executive is key to the growth and success of our client. This position is responsible for generating revenue through target accounts in the assigned territory. This will be achieved through account and territory planning, working with the sales development representative; field based sales activities and utilizing internal resources. This is a mid to senior level sales position requiring a solid history of quota and goal achievement in the software sales industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop a sales strategy using annual business & marketing plans to penetrate target accounts, achieve assigned territory revenue and product goals.

Understanding of the customer’s existing and future IT analytics needs as well as providing guidance to drive the direction of their business intelligences analytics services.

Work closely with Customer Success team to ensure our clients customer satisfaction and additional revenue opportunities.

Prospect qualification of all sales opportunities and accurate forecasting for the territory captured and updated using company CRM.

Managing the sales process and closing opportunities.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/ Experience

5+ years’ experience as top performing quota carrying sales representative penetrating large, enterprise accounts.

SaaS (Software as a Service) experience within a high-velocity business preferred.

History of quota over-achievement.

Experience with Analytics and Business Intelligence concepts is a plus.

Experience with Service Management, ITIL and ITAM concepts is a plus.

Experience with Service Management solutions such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager or similar products are a big plus.

Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment.

Teamwork and good communication skills a must.

Degree level education or equivalent.
