Our client is looking for an experienced Channel Alliances Account Director to take ownership of strategic Enterprise reseller partners and consultants to drive a program of sales enablement within these organizations. The Channel Alliances Account Director will work hand-in-hand with the Territory Sales Directors who will engage with the reseller partners field teams to work the end-user opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills in order to clearly and efficiently articulate technical matters with customers and partners

  • Lead the technical engagements in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Assist potential customers with architecture, PoC, and lab trials with the goal of moving those to a successful deployment of our clients solutions for network security.
  • Collect and analyse requirements from the field and assist the CTO and Product Management teams.
  • Provide customers with consulting services utilizing your expertise in Networking, Security and Orchestration, especially relating to Kubernetes and Service Mesh deployments.
  • Engage with the local community through venues like meetups (attending, hosting, and presenting) and local conferences with the goal of generating more interest in our client.
  • Engage with leads and cultivate prospective users and customers.
  • Become a trusted resource and advocate for your customers. Someone who the customer relies on to give the right answer, not necessarily the most commercially rewarding answer.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data center environments. Preferably related to networking, security, orchestration, ‘cloud’ infrastructure, and/or scale-out/big-data environments.
  • Experience as a sales engineer, solutions architect, resident engineer, or consulting engineer, ideally with an open source based product, would be a plus.
  • Experience with security, compliance and Infosec skills strongly preferred.
  • Experience as an actual operator (architect, SRE, DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, etc.) of microservices deployments would be a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to present on and discuss complex architectures.
  • Ability to write scripts or glue-code to automate installations, integrate components, etc. would be a benefit.
  • A deep technical understanding, including hands-on experience, of cloud and container technologies (such as AWS, GCE, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of Linux networking fundamentals (especially the IP routing and filtering stack).
  • Practical experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio and Envoy are a plus
  • Ability and desire to code compelling demos in one or more languages.

They are seeking to build a world-class Customer Success team and are looking for technical rock stars with a passion for customer service. In your role as a Customer Success Engineer, you will engage with users early in their adoption cycle, ensuring their solutions are built for success, supporting implementation from concept through production, and both following and continually enhancing processes to ensure consistent repeatable excellence across the entire customer base. You will help educate our customers, deploy our solution to meet their business objectives, guide them towards implementation of best practices and provide technical support.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensure success of your assigned customers’ deployments – enable them to maximize the value they get from their relationship with our client
  • Develop and deliver technical training
  • Build a multi-media knowledge base for our customers to help accelerate learning and self-enablement
  • First-line responsibility for your own set of customers, including answering customer’s technical questions, detailed problem diagnosis, and liaising with engineering for resolution of any product issues
  • Work with product management to help align our product roadmap with the needs of our customers
  • Manage your own time to balance urgent priorities and important long-term tasks, to meet or exceed committed SLAs while ensuring the customer’s success in meeting their deployment objectives
  • Maintain systems and processes to ensure consistent delivery across all customers
  • Participation in on-call 24×7 support schedule and be the escalation point of contact for your assigned customers
  • Communicate with customers to establish clear shared objectives and expectations, including managing the quarterly business review process (scheduling, agenda, collating actions, managing follow-up)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with direct operational responsibility for complex software systems (e.g. as a site reliability engineer), or in a customer-facing role working with enterprise customers who were implementing complex software solutions (i.e. you were managing systems for / providing support to highly technical users, not desktop / IT helpdesk)
  • Solid current technical skills & knowledge – you will be able to check off most (if not all) the following:
  • Linux fundamentals and system administration
  • IP networking
  • Private and public VM environments (e.g. OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCE)
  • Software development/operations (DevOps) experience
  • Network and systems security / SecOps
  • Container environments including orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or related
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Passionate about customer success
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Enthusiastic and creative problem solver, with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in an early-stage startup environment
  • Location: Anywhere in the United States
  • Willingness to travel (mostly nationally, occasional international) as required (total travel <25%).

Job Description

Are you an experienced product leader with a deep interest in accelerating growth for a market-leading enterprise SaaS company? Do you dream about building a platform that brings data-driven network operations to everyone?  San Francisco-based network observability and management company is seeking a high-energy, dynamic VP of Product Management to complement our team. We’re looking for a leader with drive keeping our client the leader in network observability and analytics. You are both an extraordinary manager and hands-on product person who will help us deliver the product strategy and implementation that continues their growth and drives us into new markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for and management of the Product Management team
  • Define and maintain the overall product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver products and services that delight customers, in alignment with their vision and goals, expand current markets, and open new ones
  • Partner with the CEO and CTO to evolve the long term product vision
  • Build, articulate, and own the companies road map
  • Lead competitive analysis, market research, and new market and product identification
  • Enable the Sales and CS teams with training and time in field learning with customers
  • Work closely with Engineering to plan and build the company platforms and products
  • Partner with BD and Channel to enable their products to integrate with leading ecosystems and products, and be sold by a range of channel partners

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in technical product development and management
  • Experience leading business growth through cross-company product efforts
  • Hands-on experience enabling and coordinating with revenue and marketing functions
  • Experience with B2B enterprise SaaS
  • Have a strong foundation in networking, system, and distributed systems technologies
  • Strongly preferred: Product experience in networking, security, monitoring, and/or analytics, particularly around cloud infrastructure and cloud-native network stacks and approaches (policy, automation)
