TITLE(S): Solutions Architect

Job Description:

This Solution Architect will be working in a post-sale environment and is a critical part of our clients’ customer adoption of the Security Platform. They are the day-to-day contact, establishing relationships with our customers and helping guide them to success. You’ll share best practices, provide advice, help develop deployment plans and assist the customers with operationalizing the product to achieve their objectives.

  • Lead customer on-boarding experience, adoption, and expansion
  • Develop a strong partnership with customer stakeholders, influencers and decision makers
  • Be a customer advocate in influencing product roadmap and improvements
  • Advise customers on how to best leverage our client to secure their Kubernetes environments
  • Identify and escalate problems to the support and engineering teams
  • Gain a deep understanding of typical business challenges faced by our customers to help prioritize the product roadmap
  • Run periodic business reviews with large customers
  • Identify risks to renewals on an ongoing basis, and collaborate internally to remediate customer concerns
  • Establish relationships with customer executive sponsors; with frequent communication cadence to strengthen relationships while uncovering new opportunities
  • Monitor key performance metrics like customer satisfaction, renewal rate, up-sell/cross-sell lead identification, reference-ability, renewal likelihood, adoption, consumption, and customer engagement
  • Leverage key metrics to build a strategic plan to address decreases or negative changes in the metrics listed above

Qualifications:

    • 5 years minimum working in pre-sales, account management, customer success, consulting or similar roles related to driving customer success and adoption
    • Experience working with Kubernetes
    • Strong consulting or project management skills, with proven results working as a reliable advisor to drive business value for customers
    • Highly data-driven with dedication to following processes
    • Passionate about driving and tracking a consistent engagement process with all customers in your portfolio
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment with constant change to address emerging security risks and challenges

    Flexibility for travel up to 25% of your time.

JOB TITLE(s): Partner Solutions Architect

Job Description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated senior solutions engineer in the Bay Area. This is a great chance for the right individual to get into a high-growth project that is core to the container revolution currently taking place in the cloud industry. This is an early stage startup, making this a very exciting opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical engagements in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Assist potential customers with architecture, PoC, and lab trials with the goal of moving those to a successful deployment of our clients solutions for network security.
  • Collect and analyse requirements from the field and assist the CTO and Product Management teams.
  • Provide customers with consulting services utilizing your expertise in Networking, Security and Orchestration, especially relating to Kubernetes and Service Mesh deployments.
  • Engage with the local community through venues like meetups (attending, hosting, and presenting) and local conferences with the goal of generating more interest in our client.
  • Engage with leads and cultivate prospective users and customers.
  • Become a trusted resource and advocate for your customers. Someone who the customer relies on to give the right answer, not necessarily the most commercially rewarding answer.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data center environments. Preferably related to networking, security, orchestration, ‘cloud’ infrastructure, and/or scale-out/big-data environments.
  • Experience as a sales engineer, solutions architect, resident engineer, or consulting engineer, ideally with an open source based product, would be a plus.
  • Experience with security, compliance and Infosec skills strongly preferred.
  • Experience as an actual operator (architect, SRE, DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, etc.) of microservices deployments would be a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to present on and discuss complex architectures.
  • Ability to write scripts or glue-code to automate installations, integrate components, etc. would be a benefit.
  • A deep technical understanding, including hands-on experience, of cloud and container technologies (such as AWS, GCE, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of Linux networking fundamentals (especially the IP routing and filtering stack).
  • Practical experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio and Envoy are a plus
  • Ability and desire to code compelling demos in one or more languages.

JOB TITLE(s): Director, Software Architecture

Job Description

The Director, Software Architecture is an expert in managing and contributing to the design, development, testing, and documentation of Cloud-based, as well as stand-alone services. This person must be comfortable with high levels of accountability for the team’s results in owning and delivering high quality software to the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Current with latest RAN, mobile & packet core implementation approaches
  • Assess technologies & products to determine and/or recommend venders & partners
  • Additionally assist, and participate in business development and technology partnering activities in support of the overall business plan
  • Report status against project plan, tracks different aspects of development and testing work in an Agile process
  • Designs, develops, tests, and documents Cloud-based as well as stand-alone services with support for RESTful APIs
  • Provides complete ownership of application or feature (design, development, testing, deployment, support) within the team,lead architecture & design reviews
  • Manages and participates in product studies, performs requirements analysis, and develops software architectures to meet requirements
  • Creates technical proposals and white papers, writes functional and design specifications
  • Follows security guidance in the development process as well as in SW design
  • Measures compliance against standards where relevant
  • Manages a team of developers

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience, experience managing a team of developers for at least 5 years
  • Proven ability in project and resource planning in addition to tracking for on-time SW delivery
  • Successful delivery of high quality SW to the field/customer and SW release management
  • Successful experience dealing with defect processing and field issues
  • Understanding of various 3GPP & IEEE wireless architectures (i.e., macrocellular, small cells, enterprise, Wi-Fi, WiMax, HetNets)
  • Understanding of requirements for mobility in HetNets
  • Understanding various spectrum interference issues & solutions
  • Understanding of RAN management (e.g., SoN, Wi-Fi controller)
  • Understanding of IP networks
  • Understanding of IP mobility and service call continuity
  • Understanding of SDLC and various approaches
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
